Christmas is here!

What a wonderful Christmas!! David and I were able to spend time with both sides of the family for Christmas! On Christmas eve we traveled to my parents house in Daytona. Staci and I made chocolate chip cookies to give to all of the neighbors. They were delicious, fortunaley we made enough so we could taste them along the way! We all even went to midnight mass! Christmas morning we all realized that Santa Claus was very generous! Much to our surprise no one recieved any coal! :-) David made the most delectable Christmas dinner, complete with a honey ham, and casseroles! Definaltley a new Christmas tradition! Then we traveled to Ocala to spend the rest of the holidays with David's family. Once again David made a great meal consisting of crab legs and shrimp. Wow! That was so good. I am glad that the holidays are comming to end because I am not sure I could handle anymore great meals- my arteries are already hurting! :-)

My Life- The Bahamas

David and I were blessed to have a weekend cruise to Grand Bahama Island in November. The beaches were so peaceful, with their powder sugar sand, hot sun, and crystal clear teal water with soft gentle waves. The sun was nice and warm, but the water was frigid! Somehow David managed to get me into the sub zero water, but after the inital shock of hypothermia I warmed up. The water is much nicer when you are dry. All in all we couldn't stay away from the beach. We were only there for one day, but we enjoyed every minute of soaking up the sun, we even saw a wedding on the beach! David and I even thought about renting a scooter to become truley adventurous tourists, but soon realized that idea would be a accident waiting to happen, since in the Bahamas they drive on the wrong side of the road! We had a great time, but also learned a valuable lesson- do not go on a cruise when you are pregnant! haha!
