A day in the life of Sophia and Lenny
What would the world come to if everyone behaved like my cats. They are so funny. Their whole lives consist of eating, sleeping and causing trouble. I guess they do try and help....like helping me do the laundry, and keeping the plants clean! haha! I love my cats, they truely are a part of our family!

"I love the outside, no matter how cold!"
Owen is 7 months old tomorrow, and can never get enough of the outdoors. He loves going outside, no matter the weather! I think he has everone trained- both sets of Grandparents take him for long walks in the stroller and David takes him around in the yard in his papoose. I just stick him on the ground and let him have at it. Whoever it is with him, he would rather be outside. He is all boy!
I love my Cousin!
Owen's cousin Jayden came to visit us last weekend. They were so cute together! Jayden is a very good little boy. He is a lover! Jayden loves to give hugs, and share his toys. I hope that Owen can learn Jayden's good habits! It will be interesting to see how they are when they both get older! We were so happy that Denise, Derrick, and Jayden came for a visit. Hopefully we can do it again soon!
Jaidyn's 1st Birthday
Miss Jaidyn was the perfect little princess on her birthday. She was so precious! It was a great party for both the kids and adults! My favorite was the craft table. I think that maybe the adults had more fun doing the crafts then the children! The cupcake tower was a great idea. Shirley and Henry did a great job with Jaidyn's party. Owen had a good time at his girlfriend's birthday. He can't wait for the next one!
Christmas 2008
Santa Claus, Family, Friends, Food, Fun- that is what Christmas is all about. This Christmas was SO much fun!!! When Owen and I were standing in line to see Santa, it brought back so many memories of when I was a little girl standing in line to see Santa. Owen was such a good little boy- he loved old St Nick. I am pretty sure that he brought Owen much more than he asked for!
This year we were blessed in having my Aunt Lynn and Adam with us for Owen's first Christmas. They drove all the way from Raleigh, NC. I enjoyed every moment with them. It meant so much that they were here. Owen loved Adam, and all of his guitar and piano playing.
We finally got to have our Christmas get together that David and I have wanted to have for a long time. Hopefully it will become a tradition in our home every year. Martha and her children Alex, Mya, and Aaron came to join us. Of course they were the life of the party. Thankfully Aaron saved our silly cat Lenny from the candle wax he decided to bathe in. We all had so much fun that night.
According to our family tradition, we all spent Christmas day at my parents house, which is always filled with good times, and good food. Owen continued to be spoiled by his loving Grandparents, Aunt, and Uncle. We are so blessed to have such a great family. Of course we were in need of taking a family picture. My personal favorite is the bunny ear edition of the picture- because it true of the Finkell name.

This Christmas was so great- can't wait till next year!!
Thanksgiving 2008
This year was a great Thanksgiving! It is the one time of year that all of David's siblings with their families get together. I think everyone had a great time. Colby and Peyton were such great cousin's to Owen. Owen was so fussy that day, but they managed to keep Owen enterained by giving him ALL of their toys, all at once! Of course, the camera is never ou of my hot little hands, so I snapped away all day. I love this picture of Chloe on the tire horse! I think everyone played hard- even the grown-ups ( Thanksgiving could not be complete without family fooball! ) Poor Peyton was so sleepy that he never made it to bed, under the couch was good enough for him!
