Halloween!!!

On Halloween night the world met a very brave and valiant knight and a energetic and fearless pirate! The boys costumes were AMAZING!!! David's mom went above and beyond making these costumes!! This was the first year that we did "real" trick or treating going door to door in the subdivision Indian Pines. The Corrales family and the Haines family embarked out on this adventure with us! Little miss Jaidyn was the cutest Tinkerbell with pigtails, and her bro Ethan (so sad I didn't get a picture of this little man) was Superman!! Brea was the most proper Southern Bell I've ever met (and she even shared her hat with her Dad, Kelley) and her big brother Deagan, was the Sith Lord for Star Wars! This year proved much harder to take pictures and going door to door with these fearless children! Owen, Jaidyn, and Brea were unstoppable! Ian didnt mind too much but, when he was done he decided the middle of the street was a good place to lye flat on the ground.... We meet up with a group of adorable ghosts- the Picard Family (Devon, Rowyn, and Cooper). This was a great Halloween, and looking forward to many more!!

Halloween Parade at St. Paul's

Owen's preschool had a fantasic Halloween parade and sing along. Owen was very proud of his awesome knight costume that his Nona had made (I cut out the fabric in an attempt to help, but I left the hard stuff for the master!) Unfortunately Owen did not participate in ANY singing, not even 1 word, but he did have a great time in the school parade and trick or treating. So excited, in fact, that he licked Nona instead of kissing her! What a surprise for Nona! haha!!

Pumpkin Carving and Coon Hollow!

On October 29 my parents and Staci came over for some fall fun. First the pumpkin carving. Aunt Staci and Owen drew the face on the pumpkin (complete with a butt, as Owen and Grandma says). Then Grandaddy and Babbo started carving. Owen wasn't too sure of the pumkin insides, but he muscled through it with Grandma. Then David put the finishing touches on the pumpkin (Spock ears!).

Later that afternoon, we all trecked out to MacIntosh to Coon Hollow. What a great little place! We started out in the corn maze where Aunt Staci, Grandma, and Owen went to all the letter stations to figure out the riddle (we never made it that far, but it sure was fun trying!) and Ian enjoyed getting lost in the maze with his lollipop. At least he left a sticky trail where ever he went! Then Owen and Babbo climbed a huge hay stack. While the boys here hiking up a hay mountain Dad and Staci sat on a swing where Dad gave is usual family pose- bunny ears! haha! After the hike we all went on a hay ride complete with feeding HUGE cows. The boys LOVED this!! Also got a great picture of David and I taken by my wonderful sister Staci! Then it was off to tractor and bike rides. What a great day!

Owen's Soccer League

Owen is now a part of the East Marion Soccer League. He is a "Crab"!! Owen LOVES soccer. He is so cute playing. He sometimes is more like Ferninand the Bull picking the grass, but he does try VERY hard to get it in the goal! It is very cute watching him play.

Pumpkin Patch Time!

Yesterday (Sunday) we joined the Martin Family for our yearly pumpkin patch fun- and photos! This year definatley proved harder to take these pictures, because all the boys went in seperate directions! I should have tied their overalls togther! Haha! Nevertheless everyone had a great time! Owen loved counting all the pumpkins he and Logan gathered, and of corse, throwing them! Ian enjoyed opening and closing the barn yard doors. I truly look forward to this every year!
