I can't believe that Owen is 4!!! Of course he is into Monster Trucks and MUD- so I had to accommodate his two favorite things! So after lots of research on pinterest, this is what I came up with! I think it turned out grrreat! I made monster trucks out of paper ream boxes so they could have a monster truck race in the mud pit that my wonderful husband tilled up for me. Then David made a "Car wash" from PVC pipe. That was a success too- Noah and Ian loved pushing Logan through the car wash in his blue push car, and after the monster truck races the "Drivers" ran though the wash as well. Next were the smash cars that I (and my fellow co-workers) made out of aluminum foil so the kids can build ramps in the sand box, and smash the cars- just like the Monster truck showes! I also had an obstacle course for them to go through, but I think my parents had the most fun with them!There was even face painting for the girls.. I am so happy the way this party turned out! It seemed that everyone had a great time! David grilled hamburgers and hot dogs (Owen's favorite food), and of course there were the "4" cookies that I think were Ian's favorite.... He had about 40! The monster truck cake turned out perfect, thanks to the sweet stop bakery, and the pinata was the most well constructed pinata I've ever seen! David had to give it a "little" help. By the end of the day we were all exhausted, but Wow what a great party!! I feel so blessed with everyone who came and helped celebrate Owen's big day!
