Thanksgiving

 

      This is one of my favorite times of year- this is when David's family comes together and we have a fantastic Thanksgiving feast! All the cousins get together and play, I get to practice my photography skills, and the boys play football after the huge meal. It always seems that the weather is sunny, cool, and perfect. What a great day! This year we had new additions to our family feast which is always wonderful! I just wish all of Davids family was there, but nonetheless I enjoyed the time I was able to spend with everyone!

Thanksgiving feast and sing at St. Pauls

 

     On November 17, my wild Indians,Owen and Ian had their Thanksgiving feast and sing at St. Pauls. Their performance was the cutest ever! After, we all had a picnic on the school lawn with Nona, Carmen and Marcos, and Melissa, Landon an Khylie. What a great morning!

Halloween

   This Halloween Sonia and Sara joined us for their very first trick or treating adventure in the USA! So since they haven't ever done this I asked (really made) Stacey, Shirley, and Henry to dress up as well. So I made this ridiculous costume with the help of Momma and Roberta to be Super Mom As we were driving to Indian Pines subdivision to trick or treat, Owen said, "Mamma we are in the Super hero car! I am Spiderman, Ian s Super Why and you are Super mom!" He is so smart! There we met Shirley( the hippie), Henry (the temporary butterfly- He didn't think I was serious about costumes. hahaha!), Jaidyn (bat girl), Ethan ( the very cute soldier), Stacey (the Hawaiian) Logan (the Ninja), Noah (the cutest Raggedy Andy I have ever seen), Sonia (the corpse bride) and Sara ( the fanshionista witch- complete with heels). Let the trick or treating begin! What a blast! I'm not what was more fun- getting candy, OR riding in the wagons.. The results are still in debate. :) There we met Joda and her sweet family as well. I am so glad we are all still able to get together for our Halloween tradition! Happy Halloween!
