Owen is about 5 1/2 months old now. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is becoming such a little man. Just like a boy he would rather be outside and explore. He is such a little flirt- he loves showing off that sweet little krooked grin to the girls. My best friend Michelle came over, and all he did was smile and laugh the entire time she was over. I love this stage he is in. David and I enjoy every moment with him. I am biased, but I think he is the cutest little boy I have ever seen!

Meet Lenny, our newest family member

Meet Lenny, the newest Mr. Hogan. He is about 4 1/2 months old, and so cute. Lenny is all boy, and fits in perfectly with this family. Just as stubborn with somethings as the rest of us, but easy going and loving most of the time. Lenny loves to be where the action is. He is great with Owen, even if Owen tries to eat him from time to time! haha. Sophia has met her match. They make a great couple!

I want to do it all by myself!

Owen loves eating, but most of all he likes to feed himself! He is growing up so fast. Owen is developing such a personality. So far he has liked everything he has tried.

1st Halloween

It is amazing how much fun holidays are with children. This year Owen was the cutest little monkey. I bought his costume early, thinking if I bought a 9month size, that we would have no problem fitting into it by Halloween. But Owen is growing SO fast. I was so worried that the monkey costume wouldn't fit all 16lbs 13oz of my 4month old little boy. So I took him to the pumpkin patch early to take a few snapshots of him in his first costume. Thankfully, last Friday when I put the costume back on for Halloween- it just fit. The head peice was a little snug, but hey it kept his ears warm! David and I took Owen to Trinity baptist church for their fall festival for Halloween. Our friend Henry and his daughter Jayden came with us. Owen and Jayden were the cutest couple.... Owen pulling her shirt, and Jayden grabbing his ear! haha! By the end, Owen was so tuckered out that he fell sound asleep in the car seat- costume and all. What an exciting evening.

Our little man

Owen is such a gift from God. Everyday there is a new discovery. The other day he found that he has two hands, and he loves to put them together even at the most inoppurtune times (like when it is time to change clothes, or when it is time to eat.). But he looks like a little angel so all I can do is smile and laugh. He is forming is own likes and dislikes. Owen never tires of peek-a-boo, but he can handle only so much of tummy time. He thinks that his Daddy is the greatest thing in the world. I love it when Owen is just captivated by David. Owen can't peel his eyes off of him, and I swear that Owen's mouth must get dry because, he gives David the biggest open mouthed smile I have ever seen. I am so thankful to have our little family, and I cherish each and every moment.

I can't believe that Owen is 3 months old already! He is growing SO fast! Owen is so expressive, and is not afraid of showing what he feels! Right now he is all about spit bubbles and kicking! He is such a joy.

Owen is here!

Owen has arrived! He made his debut on June 26,2008 at 8:36 p.m. He weighed 6lbs 15oz, and was 21 inches long. He is absolutely perfect! Owen already has such a personality! He now is 2 weeks old and weighs 8lbs 2oz, and doing great!

A peek into Owen's Nursery

It is FINALLY finished! I am so happy the way it turned out, I love everything about it. Especially all of the baby pictures on the wall, I have added a couple more since this picture was taken. The "family tree" quilt turned out really cute too. Thank you everyone who sent a square back, you really helped make his quilt special. The only thing that I am waiting for now is for Owen to arrive!! Hopefully sooner than later!

Belly Pictures at 34 weeks

Here are some pictures of my ever-growing belly at 34 weeks. I am 37 weeks now, feeling pretty good, but ready to meet Owen face to face. The doctor says he antipates Owen being 7.5-8lbs. I hope that he is on the lighter side- he has plenty of time to grow after he is born. No need to give birth to a ready made football player!!! hahaha!

Baby Showers!!

I was blessed to have 2 baby showers for little Mr. Owen. We had so much fun! The games at both showers were very creative! My personal favorites were the tasting of the baby food and guessing what flavor it is ( I will not feed Owen certain foods now! haha!), and measuring the belly. I am so grateful to be surrounded by so many friends and family, who love and support me. Owen is going to be one lucky boy!
