Christmas 2009
This will definitely be a Christmas to remember! I am still amazed at myself that I did not take NEARLY enough pictures this holiday season. SO much seemed to happen that I didn't catch on film. Nevertheless we had a great holiday. We first had dinner with the Corrales family, and Owen tried to steal a kiss from Jaidyn in front of the tree at the downtown square (with no luck, of course), then to our family picture that included our newest animals Izzy and Gerdie (that was an adventure! The goats were better than Owen! haha!!), next our Christmas get together that I did not take a single picture except for the Pregnant trio (Stacey, Shirley and I)
but we all had SO much fun, then to our beautiful falling tree 2 days before Christmas, and finally Christmas morning- that was an adventure!! I never would have thought a little boy could cry so much because Santa left presents for him!!! I will always remember Owen sitting in front of the Christmas tree with presents all around him crying " no, no, no!" haha!!! I felt so bad because he cried ALL day even at my parents house!!!! Good thing that crying does not affect my appetite, because Mom really made a great Christmas dinner! Even though Owen cried all throughout Christmas, David and I enjoyed spending the day with our family as the role of parents!
A day at Grandma's and Grandaddy's
What a great day to spend with my family in Daytona!! It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and we all had a blast!! Owen was such a ham, that I could not resist taking pictures of him with Grandma and Grandaddy! I am sure they were tired of the camera in their face, but hey I got some awesome pictures!!!Thank goodness for my craving for oysters, because I had the most delicous meal at Boondocks with everyone, and even a walk on the beach!! I bet it has been at least 10 years since my parents have been on the beach! What a great day!!!
Thanksgiving 2009
What a great Thanksgiving this year! We were blessed to spend it with all of David's family. The food was fantastic- especially the Turkey that David made this year, all 25 pounds of it. Eventhough it bent my oven rack, it was well worth it! Thanksgiving would not be complete without family football, the new tradition of the Hogan family picture, reading of the black friday sale ads, and just good times had by all!! This is what the holidays are about!
