Tommy's is a Eagle Scout!

On April 6th, my brother recieved the highest award that a boyscout can achieve-his Eagle. I am so proud of him! He worked so hard to achieve this goal. He is truely an asset to the Boyscouts of America. Many people came to watch and support him in recieving this great honor, including the Mayor of Daytona Beach. Tommy is an inspiration to me to never give up. He has such determination and drive. These great assets will aid him in his life to come. I am proud to have such an awesome brother! My parents did a great job with the ceremony and reception, they made it incrediably special and meaningful, from the live bald eagle to the Indian dancing, to arranging all of the special people to be there. Congrats Tommy on such a great achievement!!!

The Great Easter Egg Hunt

This Easter we spent it with Davids parents, cousin Franchescia and her family. The highlight of the day was the "Great Easter Egg Hunt" with Stacia and Kayla. Stacia is a easter egg hunt master! She found all of the eggs in record time, but she also was a great big sister and let little miss Kayla find the easy ones that the Easter Bunny left behind. Of course no Easter would be complete without an Easter basket. David and I absolutley enjoyed all of the candy-especially the Reese's!

Belly Pics at 26 weeks

Finally, here are some "belly" pictures of me at 26 weeks. These were taken on March 16th, 2008. I am feeling great. He is moving all of the time now, and at times I am thinking I am having a monkey instead of a baby with all of the heartburn I am having!! Haha! I will take some more pictures of the ever-growing belly soon!

Uncle Mario's Birthday!

We celebrated Uncle Mario's 21st birthday in Ft. Lauderdale in March. Everyone had a great time. Daniel, Thomas and Adrianna's son was the star of the show! Eric and Melissa are such a cute couple-maybe one day the will tie the knot! I couldn't resist to a take a picture of Aunt Doris and I. You would never guess that she is 90 years young. I love the belly picture of Adrianna and I with Uncle Mario in the middle. Adrianna and I are exactly a month apart. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Daytona 500

It is a Finkell family tradition (or at least the boys) to camp out in the in-field at the Daytona 500. It is a fun filled week, full of different races, and a lot of in-field activities. My Dad and Uncle Don have been going as long as I can remember, and my brother just lives and breathes Nascar! You would never think that standing on top of a motor home and watching a race would be so much fun. But it is a blast. In fact there is a whole community in the in-field! Rain or shine, or even blistering cold weather everyone still has lots of fun! The one rule of staying in the in-field is "What happens at the Races, stays at the races." But I couldn't resisttaking a few memorable snapshots of the wheelbarrow races. That was the funniest thing I have ever seen! They have wheelbarrows decorated as race cars and one person rides in it, and another pushes, and who ever crosses the finish line first without falling over wins! David and James had to try it, and of course they won a race!!! We had so much fun! Can't wait till next year!
