Usually picking out a Christmas tree is a long and drawn out event- mainly due to my indecisiveness. This year was not the case! We looked at 3 trees total and the 2nd tree won the prize of being the 2011 Hogan family Christmas Tree! Next it was on to the decorating! The boys dressed in their favorite pajamas with Santa hats, Babbo on the couch supervising and taking pictures, and me ready to go (even though I did string the lights up backwards :/). Owen did a fantastic job hanging the ornaments on the tree- Ian not so much. Ian thought it was more fun to throw the balls as hard as he could against the wall (so hard in fact, that he dented the shatterproof ornaments). What a great night! When the tree was finished David hung the star while Owen Ian and I danced to Christmas music! Oh, how I love decorating the tree! I especially love all the special ornaments of the past and all the memories they bring. I look forward to the ornaments of the future. One day my tree will be as full as Grandma's!
