Momma's surprise 70th birthday party

        Three weeks before we left for Italy, Catherine, David's sister, sent a group facebook message on how Momma wanted a BIG party for her 70th birthday. We all knew that we needed to go all out. She has been there for all of us, no matter what, and she deserved a party fit for a queen. So our wheels started turning, addresses gathered, and planning started. We couldn't have pulled it off without the help of everyone. And trust me, keeping this secret from Momma was NO easy task! This party was perfect! The decorations turned out beautiful (thanks Rayna and Pinterest!), the 3 course meal was nothing short of amazing (all cooked by my wonderful husband and Cade as his sous chef), the slide show was perfect (thanks everyone for all of the photos- sorry for my constant nagging, and Denise for making it!) all 70 (+1) memories for the 70 years of memories were packaged up and ready to go (sorry again for all of my constant nagging), and the MC was quite entertaining and kept the party flowing (thanks Catherine!)I think everyone had a great time. Most of all, Momma was surprised and it was such a meaningful party to her! I am so glad that she enjoyed it. That in itself made the party. I am so grateful that all of her children came together and made Momma's birthday celebration happen! Thanks to all that helped, and came to the party! It was a blast!
